There is a time-based requirement for a marriage to qualify for a Divorce in Singapore.
You can only apply for a Divorce in Singapore if you have been married for 3 years or more. If you have been married for less than 3 years, you cannot apply for a Divorce unless you obtain the Court’s permission to apply for a Divorce in Singapore.
